When she said “yes” to providing daily care to him, she also could have said “no” to continuing her volunteer activities.

Blessed Mother Teresa program to be offered Print E-mail

The Mahoning Valley Lifelong Learning Institute will present “Blessed Mother Teresa” 9:30-11:30 a.m. April 7 in the Park Vista Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.


Dr. Agnes Martinko, a former professor of psychology at Youngstown State University, will offer an in-depth look at the life of the humble Albanian nun who brought worldwide exposure to India’s poor through her ministry. Martinko will evaluate that ministry and the impact it had on the people of India. The presentation will also feature a 50-minute film on Blessed Mother Teresa’s life.
